Zoeller Forge is open for business taking and processing
orders. Please be patient with me because I
have quite a back log of quotes to process right now. Orders are
currently running about two weeks behind.
February 19, 2011: At the beginning of this year, I ran into some unforeseen medical issues. I will be undergoing an invasive surgery that will leave me unable to tend to Zoeller Forge. Therefore, I will be unable to take any orders from now until April 18. I am sorry for this delay and inconvenience.
August 28, 2010: Due to the large volume of orders that I have at the moment, shipping on orders is running about a week behind.
January 31, 2009: New product added: 12" x 12" x1 1/2" 2900 °F Heavy Duty Firebrick. These make a great floor for gas forges. See below for more information.

Stainless Steel Burner Flares |

I am currently making and selling pressed formed stainless steel burner flares that fit on 1/2" and 3/4" burner pipes. The 3/4" size will work on the Z Burner™, Modified Side Arm Burner, Ron Reil style, and the T-Rex burner. They will greatly improve the performance and the efficiency of the burner. Further information concerning the side arm burners can be found on my Side Arm Burner page. Note: Type 304/304L stainless steel is a chromium-nickel material that offers very good corrosion resistance up to 1600 °F. The temperatures inside a forge body will far exceed these temperature's ratings so you must keep the burner flares out of the interior of the forge. When installing burner assembly in the forge, the flare should not extend down into the forge chamber it should be up inside the Durablanket about a 1" to a 1 1/2" to help protect the flare from the high heat in the forge chamber. |

Z Weld™ Welding Compound.
The premier gas
forge welding flux that is also great for welding in coal or coke
forges. One of the
great things about this flux is that it will not drip or foam up during welding like
most fluxes on the market, therefore, avoiding damage to the forge
lining.

Simple gas forge burner holder assembly. The burner holder assembly is ready to install in your simple gas forge, all the holes are drilled and taped. The assembly includes 1 1/2" x 4" schedule 40 black pipe nipple, (2) 1 1/2" conduit lock rings, (2) 2" x 1 1/2" rigid conduit reducing washers ( note: not shown in picture) , (3) 1/4-20 x 1" bolts, and (3) 1/4-20 nuts. This assembly could also be used on a Freon tank forge or a Propane tank forge. When you use this assembly there is no welding required to install the burner holder. The burner holder assembly is $25.00 each plus shipping. |

Side Arm Burner kits. This kit contains all the parts needed to build a 3/4" side arm burner, all parts have been drilled and tapped, all you have to do is assemble the parts and tune the burner. The kit contains (1) 3/4" stainless steel burner flare, (1) 1 1/4" x 3/4" x 1 1 1/4" Ward reducing tee, (1) .035 contact tip, (1) 1 1/4" plug that has been drilled and tapped (1) 3/4" x 8" pipe threaded on one end, and (1) 1/8" x 4" schedule 80 pipe nipple threaded 1/8" female NPT on one end. Insulated Firebricks 9" long x 4 1/2" wide x 2 1/2" thick 2600°F 46 lb. density Insulating Firebricks, these make a great front or back wall for gas forges. The firebricks are $5.50 each plus shipping cost. Three of these firebricks will fit in a Priority Flat Rate box, so the shipping cost would be $11.50 for three firebricks. These Insulated Firebricks lose less heat through furnace linings than do heavier refractories. This translates to lower operating cost. Plistix 900F® is
a general service coating that not only
protects and extends the life of the refractory, but greatly improves
fuel efficiency as well, and minimizes the health concerns of airborne
ceramic fibers.The temperature
grade rating
for this product is 3400°F. It
can be applied directly over ceramic
blanket and other refractory materials. (Note: The Plistix 900F
cannot be applied on the Duraboard) This is a great
substitute for ITC 100 at a much more reasonable price of $10.50 a
pound or $20.00 for two pounds plus shipping. Plistix 900F is in
a powder form and is mixed with
water to the consistency of
a thin milkshake and is applied
to the refractory by dabbing it on with a paint brush, brushstrokes
tend to pull the fibers
apart. A pint of Plistix 900F applied at a 1/16
of an inch thickness will
cover approximately 1.2 square feet. |

Tank Manifold Kit this allows you to connect two 20# LP cylinders together. If you are having problems with your 20# cylinder freezing up while running your forge, this kit will let you pull from two 20# cylinders at the same time reducing your chance of freezing the tanks.
